Bradford prop forward Andy Lynch will be fit for the start of next season, the club have been assured.

The 26-year-old was having a plate inserted in his broken ankle today after sustaining the serious injury in Saturday's Super League play-off win over Warrington.

Lynch, who was last week voted the club's player of the year and named in Great Britain's stand-by squad for the Tri-Nations Series, is facing a three-month recovery period.

"After missing out on the semi-final and the final last year, it's a cruel blow to him and the team," said Bulls coach Steve McNamara.

"But he's in good hands. There have been a few problems in getting him operated on but he will be fixed up today and the information we're getting from the specialist is that he will make a full recovery.

"The early estimates are three months so he'll be back for the start of next season."

Bradford expect to offset the loss of Lynch with the return of Great Britain second-rower Paul Johnson and loose forward Jamie Langley for Friday's final eliminator against Hull at the KC Stadium.

Johnson missed the Warrington match with an ankle injury while Langley has sat out the last four with a groin problem.

"It just throws a little bit more adversity into the mix," added McNamara.

"The players have overcome a lot of it this year. They certainly overcame it on Saturday night and the advantage we've got this week is that we can plan for it.

"Of course, it's a blow but we've got some plans in place and we'll prepare without Andy this week. "Paul Johnson and Jamie Langley will be available for selection this week."

Meanwhile, Bradford are today celebrating a new four-year deal with local motor company JCT600 that will take their sponsorship income to well over £1million.

"This underpins the financial stability of the club and therefore our ability to compete at the top of our sport," said Bulls chief executive Gareth Davies.
