Brits take a dive in final

British divers Leon Taylor and Peter Waterfield narrowly missed out on a bronze medal in the men's synchronised 10 metre platform final at the Sydney International Aquatic Centre.  

The duo accumulated 335.34 points, leaving them 29.70 adrift of gold medallists Dmitri Saoutine and Igor Loukachine (365.04) of Russia.

Chinese pair Liang Tian and Jia Hu (358.74) grabbed the silver while Germans Jan Hempel and Heiko Meyer pipped the Brits to the bronze with a score of 338.88.
