Big fee can repay Cahill's debt to Millwall

Tim Cahill says his future is in the hands of Millwall chairman Theo Paphitis.

The goalscoring midfielder has attracted interest from several Premiership clubs and could be set for a move in this month's transfer window.

The 24-year-old is ambitious to play at the highest level and his contract expires in a year's time but Millwall are holding out for a big fee.

Cahill, who should play at Wigan tomorrow, said: "Unless someone puts in a firm bid and the chairman accepts it, I am happy to carry on here.

"There is always speculation and I cannot forget that Millwall have given me the best start in football that I could have had.

"I am happy here and we have got a realistic chance of making the play-offs this season but if the club decide to sell me, it would be nice to repay them for everything they have done with a decent transfer fee."

Robbie Ryan (groin) and Charley Hearn (pelvis) are available again and Paul Ifill (hernia) has an outside chance of appearing tomorrow.
