Bantams could go out of business

14 April 2012

Bradford City could go out of business today if the landlord of their Valley Parade ground does not waive next season's rent.

The Yorkshire club, in administration and relegated from Division One last season, have debts of around £30million.

Administrators Kroll said: "Following discussions with the landlord (former chairman Gordon Gibb) we have submitted a request to play rent-free at Valley Parade next season. If that does not happen then there is no other choice but to close the club down."
