Arshavin's agent set for crunch Zenit talks to tie up Tottenham switch

Zenit St Petersburg president Alexander Dukov will meet the agent of Andrei Arshavin in Madrid in a bid to crack the final stage of the Russian striker's move to White Hart Lane.

Arshavin is keen to move as soon as possible but Zenit have dragged their heels, to the fury of , who are threatening to look elsewhere.

Bankrolled by Dukov's millions, Zenit are in mid-season and do not need the money so they do not share the urgency of Tottenham or Arshavin, who has already rejected the offer of a new five-year deal from the Russian champions worth £75,000-a-week after tax.
