Another false start for Greene

Olympic and world champion Maurice Greene has been left out of the United States team for next weekend's World Cup Final in Madrid. His place in the 100 metres has gone to Tim Montgomery.

Darren Campbell has pulled out of the British team because of a hip injury. His place in the 4x100m relay will be taken by Blackheath's Daniel Plummer.

The London Grand Prix today failed to obtain Golden League status when the IAAF announced its schedule for the next three years.
