Anna Kournikova has pulled out of Wimbledon because of a back injury.
And Wimbledon officials today confirmed that Kournikova will not be taking part in the All England Championships.
Hot on the heels of Kournikova's withdrawal came the news that Germany's Tommy Haas had also pulled out of the tournament due to a shoulder injury.
Kournikova, who has yet to win a tour title and has slipped to 77 in the world rankings, has only won one tour match this year because of leg and back problems.
