Allen's plan just perfect

Martin Allen admits taking huge job satisfaction from the 2-0 FA Cup win at Luton.

The Brentford manager's game plan, which involved a surprise change to a 4-5-1 formation and unleashing Jay Tabb as a second-half substitute, worked superbly.

Allen said: "Believe it or not, I still find it hard to believe I am manager of a football club. At times it can be very demanding, especially for my family, but days like Saturday make it all worthwhile."

Chris Hargreaves and Tabb scored as Brentford made the fourth round for the fourth time since 1971.
