Age is no concern for No1 Vijay

Vijay Singh set his sights on a third golf major after finishing top of the US Tour money list.

Singh shared fifth place behind American Chad Campbell at the season-ending Tour Championship in Houston to make it 11 top-10 finishes in his last 12 events.

The 40-year-old Fijian said: "I am really proud of what I have accomplished this year, especially at my age."

The only thing missing from Singh's record this year was a third major, and he added: "I would like to win one next year if I can. I had good opportunities this year but never pulled it off."

Tiger Woods, who needed to win in Houston to overhaul Singh and claim an unprecedented fifth straight money title, finished 26th in the 31-strong field. Darren Clarke was 18th.

Great Britain and Ireland beat Continental Europe 15-13 in the Seve Trophy at El Saler but the match ended on a sour note following a dispute over pitch-mark repairs between Padraig Harrington and Jose Maria Olzabal.
