There is some spectacular skating going on at Skating Parks across London, here's where you can find the best of them alongside some top skate spots.

Skate Ramps

Playstation Park: One of the best skate parks in the UK, with many ramps and a great street course. Exit Westbourne Park tube then head down Portabello Road, to Acklaim Road.

Kennington: Like an elongated bowl, this skate facility is just down the road from Kennington tube station.

Stockwell: Big concrete park with bowls and hips everywhere, quite busy on Sundays. Exit Stockwell Tube and head down Stockwell Road (just opposite) for half a mile.

Harrow Skate Center: Located at the Harrow Leisure Centre. Street Course with flat bank and transition at end, scattered with cones, Metal girders, poles, etc. Roll-in, funbox, flat bank to transition. Blue Pool. Snake run, tube thing and bowls. Roller skate/blades not allowed.

Meanwhile 2: Situated under the big flyover opposite Royal Oak Tube Station on the Hammersmith and City line. It has two big concrete "waves" like mini ramps with no flat bottom. There is a big gap between the two sections.

Skate Spots

SouthBank: The home of British skateboarding, it stays dry because is under the Queen Elizabeth hall. Big banks and stairs with a nice and flat surface. Weekends see the place packed with skaters.

Liverpool Sreet: Take the exit of the station next to McDonalds and turn right at the Swiss Bank. There are lots of different height steps (1-10), double and triple sets and ledges of different heights.

St. Pauls: Patanoster Square and the White Wall. Plenty of benches, blocks, steps and steep banks.

Cantelowes: Has a 6.5 foot vert ramp with two quarter pipes running off of it into the main park. There is a skate jam once a year and BMXers like it too.
Directions: Head to Camden Town Tube on the northern line, leave the station with your back to Rymans and Foot locker, cross the road the 'The Halfway House' and you should be walking withh Sainsbury's on your left. Keep going until you see the big blue and yellow garage - it’s just behind there.
