Presenter Anneka Rice is still married to theatre boss Nick Allott
After 22 years of living separately it turns out TV presenter Anneka Rice is still married to theatre producer Nick Allott.
Speaking to Daily Mail columnist Sebastian Shakespeare, Anneka said: “Everyone thinks we’re divorced, but we’re not. It’s no big deal interviewing him because we’re friends.”
Anneka and Nick had two sons together but the pair split up in 1992 after Anneka started an affair with TV executive Tom Gutteridge.
Nick Allott commented on their odd situation when speaking to Shakespeare at the Olivier Awards last Sunday: “I don’t think it’s anyone else’s business why we’ve taken the decision to stay married after all this time. Maybe people think it’s weird. We have our reasons. It suits us. We are civilised people.”

Anneka has now been in a relationship with writer Simon Bell since 2005 and Nick has been in a long-term relationship with journalist Christa D’Souza, with whom he has two sons.
