Pregnant Chrissy Teigen showed off her growing bump during an acupuncture session just days after telling the world that she's expecting her third child.

In a snap posted to her Instagram story, several acupuncture needles are seen stuck into her stomach as she lies on her back on a spa bed in what appears to be her living room.

The former model, who already raises two young children with soul singer husband John Legend, didn't share why she opted for acupuncture while pregnant.

However, the holistic treatment is said to be used to alleviate a variety of different pregnancy-related ailments, including nausea and vomiting.

After the session, the cookbook author stepped into the kitchen to whip up some hearty meals, which included short ribs and sauteed vegetables, which she joked was to lure her busy husband back home.

She captioned a video that zoomed in on the scrumptious food being prepared: "It's short rib night if you ever come home."

Teigen and Legend first met while working on a music video in 2006.

In August 2020, the star announced she was pregnant with a third child, whom she and Legend named Jack.

The couple tragically lost the child the following month when Chrissy suffered a stillbirth.
