McBusted have told that their pop band mash-up might not work for everyone

McBusted have told the Daily Star paper that despite their successful merge of bands McFly and Busted, they don’t think it would be as easy for other bands to follow suit.

In the interview, singer Tom Fletcher said: “I heard Boyzone and Westlife are rumoured to be doing something similar to us.

"The thing is, I’m not sure if it would work as well for other bands. Good luck to anyone wanting to form a supergroup, but it probably won’t be as easy and natural as it was for us.”

The two pop bands McFly and Busted joined forces to create new band McBusted back in November 2013. James Bourne and Matt Willis of Busted joined Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones and Harry Judd.

Earlier this year the band started an 11 date UK concert tour and they are headlining the Barclaycard British Summertime at Hyde Park on the 6 of July.
