'Laydee' charmer David Walliams was at it again last night, whisking actress Kate Beckinsale off for night out in London's Covent Garden.

The serial womaniser strolled arm-in-arm with the actress after dining at J Sheekey restaurant. There was no sign of her director husband Les Wiseman.

The actor, who is rumoured to have previously dated Geri Halliwell, Abi Titmuss and Lisa Snowdon, walked her back to her hotel in Soho where he left her and headed home.

The Little Britain star has just returned from LA - Beckinsale's new hometown - with comedy partner Matt Lucas, where they were preparing the launch of the US version of their hit TV show.

The US version has familiar characters and new ones, with some scenes directed in front of a live audience by Friends star David Schwimmer.
