What?:

Who runs it?: There’s a couple of tracks in London, but The Raceway is the biggest!

Where?: Central Warehouse, Freight Terminal, York Way, King's Cross N1

What can I expect?: To dress up in race suits and helmets, then hurtle round a huuuuge 800m track —with plenty of 'S' bends and chicanes - using a seriously powerful engine. Hoorah!

Who goes?: Lots of corporate jollies and stag dos, chaps and chappesses living out childhood fantasies of being Formula One stars. Not many nervous 'Maureen Rees' style learner drivers.

How much?: It ranges between £50-£65 pp depending on what time you're going and how many are in your group.

What do I wear?: Flat shoes and casual gear — they supply race suits

Who can take part? Anyone, really, although you have to be over 18. Weight limits and height restrictions also apply.

How do I book? Over the phone in advance. Call 020 7833 1000.
