Sheis undoubtedly more comfortable in jeans and puffa jacket. But competing for headlines with the nation's most exciting footballer is not always comfortable.
Thus Coleen McLoughlin finds herself in an outfit more suited to the ballet stage than the arena of the footballer's wife.
Perhaps because it is her fiance Wayne Rooney rather than Coleen herself who is famous for fancy footwork, she chose to do the photoshoot in a horizontal position rather than attempting a pirouette.
The pose, and others, accompany an interview for CosmoGIRL! magazine, in which she talks of her health and beauty regime.
To keep trim she drinks two litres of water a day and uses a Flexibar, a 4ft length of plastic with weights at either end which builds muscle strength. Her philosophy for looking good, she adds, is 'being confident'.
'As long as I'm comfortable in what I'm wearing, I'm fine,' she says. 'I do try and keep in shape and watch what I eat. If I'm happy I don't worry what people think.'
Miss McLoughlin, 19, who said recently that she now styles herself on Audrey Hepburn, reveals in the latest interview that her favourite clothes come from TopShop and Chloe.
