Stacey Solomon was reduced to tears after a row with Gillian McKeith as the TV nutritionist continued to wind up I'm A Celebrity campers.

Solomon asked the Channel 4 presenter why she was continuing to put herself through the show when she found it "unbearable".

But McKeith snapped at the singer to leave her alone and complained that she did not understand her phobias.

Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder has also been complaining yet again about McKeith saying she was self-centred.

"Gillian does drive me f barmy. It's 'me, me, me' in her world. I can't stand people who are selfish.

"It does my tits in. She can give it but she can't take it."

His outburst followed her carping about his snoring. She grumbled: "I didn't sleep because there was an inmate snoring all night long so my whole bed was vibrating. I just want to know at what point do I get any consideration for what I want."

But fellow camper Lembit Opik barely noticed the singer making a noise in his sleep: "Shauny didn't snore last night."

Solomon tried to reason with McKeith to explain she should think about quitting.

"If you're so afraid and have so many phobias and are ill over it, you should go. There's nothing keeping you here. You said it's unbearable '
But after an increasingly heated exchange, McKeith said: "I'm not the sort of person who quits, my family have seen me faint before, they are easy with it."

As the row reached its climax, McKeith told her: "Just go back over there."

Solomon later blamed herself for the argument and said: "I shouldn't say anything, it's none of my business."

The pair eventually cleared the air and McKeith told Solomon: "You kept talking and talking and I thought 'oh my God I can't listen to this any more - I haven't slept all night."

Bookies' favourite Stacey Solomon was picked to take part in tomorrow night's bushtucker trial, along with rapper Aggro Santos.

The two will face what hosts Ant and Dec called the "high wire walk from hell" on Wednesday's show, when they will win stars by releasing balloons from a raised platform above the jungle.

Stacey laughed and rolled her eyes as she was told that she will face 'Super Scary-O', her second trial of the series.

Gillian, Alison and Britt were excluded from the public vote on medical grounds.

Nutritionist Gillian breathed a sigh of relief as she escaped her eighth bushtucker trial in the jungle.

She told Stacey earlier in the day that the only person she wanted to speak to when she left the show was former I'm a Celebrity contestant Katie Price.

"She's probably the only person in the world who would understand how I feel right now," she said.
