This Morning presenter Fern Britton was reunited with Eamonn Holmes on live TV today for the first time in 15 years.

Sky News presenter Holmes, 48, stood in for regular This Morning host Philip Schofield to co-host the ITV show.

Ironically, Holmes' partner Ruth Langford usually steps in for Britton on Fridays.

Clutching a photograph of the pair when they first appeared on TV together in the early '90s, Holmes and Britton recalled how "beautiful" they looked in their youth.

The duo worked at GMTV together before Holmes left for Sky's breakfast show and Fern went to ITV1's This Morning.

Britton, 50, and her husband, TV chef Phil Vickery are old friends with Holmes and Langford.

Holmes delighted the blonde presenter last year when he sent her a framed photo of them in their younger years.

However, when Britton whipped the frame out on live TV today, he looked rather embarrassed, presumably at the sight of added inches on his waistline.
