The Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association hold several fairs throughout the year, with up to 70 antiquarian and second-hand book dealers exhibiting.

Poet Laureate Andrew Motion tops the bill in the first in a series of regular poetry cabarets. Plus Patience Agbabi and Sophie Woolley, who has been described as 'the Alan Bennett of the chemical generation'. Presented by Steve Tasane and Geoff Allnutt.

Soho Theatre

Zsuzsa Rakovsky George Szirtes introduces the prize-winning Hungarian poet Zsuzsa Rakovszky. Her poems will be read, mostly in his translation, and signed copies will be available.
