Eminem is set to perform this summer at London’s Wembley Stadium.

The “Love The Way You Lie” rapper is heading for the UK again this summer, after headlining last year’s Reading and Leeds festivals.

He announced the news yesterday on the Zane Lowe show on BBC Radio 1, saying: "I heard that I wasn't going to be approved to play in Hyde Park and it made me even more excited to play in London this summer. The easiest way to get me to do something is to tell me I can't do it. Thanks to the Royal Parks for making it all possible for Wembley."

The performance will mark the first time a rapper has headlined the venue, and his next single “Headlights” from his new album “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” will be released to coincide with the show.

Eminem will also be going on a mini tour of the US this summer with Rihanna, a tour which will see the pair play in LA, New Jersey and Detroit.
