The wives and girlfriends of Liverpool's Champions League losers shared their men's heartbreak in Greece last night.

The disappointment was obvious for Peter Crouch's partner Abbey Clancy, John Arne Rijse's girlfriend Maria, Bolo Zenden's sweetheart Chloe Patjzer and a blonde friend as they came to terms with the 2-1 defeat at the final whistle.

Captain Steve Gerrard's fiancee Alex Curran was also spotted wiping away the tears.

One onlooker said: "The girls were next to the Liverpool dugout and it was a bit too much for them when the final whistle went."

Sad WAGS cafe: The disappointment is written all over their faces for Peter Crouch's partner Abbey Clancy (centre), John Arne Rijse's girlfriend Maria (left), Bolo Zenden's sweetheart Chloe Patjzer (far right) and a blonde friend

The dream is over: The WAGS seem to feel the pain almost as much as their footballing partners
