Charlotte splashes out for pals

For Charlotte Church, the only problem about spending a week on Ibiza was having to leave her six best friends behind in the miserable British summer.

So she took the pals along with her too.

The singer, who gained control of her £5.5million fortune on her 18th birthday, has forked out an estimated £25,000 hiring a huge villa on the Spanish island.

And to complete the package, she arranged for a full- time chauffeur to ferry the girls between Ibiza's beaches and its infamous nightclubs.

Unfortunately for Charlotte's boyfriend Kyle Johnson, who has just returned from a week-long 'stag do' in Benidorm, this is strictly a hen party. He faces a week alone in their Cardiff love nest while she takes her turn in the sun.

The party are all understood to be former classmates of Charlotte at the £6,000-a-year private Howell's girls school in Cardiff.

A friend said: 'Charlotte has heard so much about Ibiza and she wanted to go with the girls. They're bound to have a wild time but Charlotte is promising to be good while she's away from Kyle.'
