Wiz Khalifa has spoken out about his Twitter spat with Kanye West, insisting that there is ‘no animosity’ between them.

The rapper, who became the subject of West’s Twitter fury earlier this year, thinks that the furore that ensured was ‘no thing’.

When asked by GQ why he had originally taken to Twitter to criticise West for calling his new album Waves, Khalifa said:

“Bob Marley spoke up for what he believed in."

The rapper, who was married to West’s ex-girlfriend Amber Rose added: “Why would I [regret it]? It’s done and over with, so it don’t even matter.”

Speaking about the phone call that West made to him to apologise after his rant, Khalifa said:

“I keep s*** brief. But for him, it’s no animosity, so it ain’t even no thing.

“I have nothing to apologise for. When s*** don’t matter, it don’t faze you.”

West launched into a personal tirade about Khalifa back in January after he mistakenly thought that he’d referenced his wife Kim Kardashian on Twitter.

His hour long rant included tweets criticising his dress sense, musical abilities and family.
