Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have announced the arrival of a baby boy, who is “beautiful and happy”.

The newlyweds welcomed their first child at 3.55am on Monday morning in a “quiet London hospital”, just three months after they walked down the aisle.

Williams shared a first glimpse of her newborn on Instagram on Wednesday, writing: “This morning at 3:55am, we welcomed our son into a quiet London hospital... He is beautiful and healthy. We feel truly blessed.”

Former Made in Chelsea star Matthews told Hello! Magazine that both mother and baby are doing well.

“Our son arrived this morning and both mother and baby are doing well. I'm so proud of Vogue and we both feel truly blessed to welcome baby Matthews into the world,” he said.

“He's beautiful, just like his mother.”

Over the weekend, Williams had revealed that she was overdue, praising her husband for putting up with a “grumpy wife”.

She wrote: “This boy [Spencer] has been amazing... overdue means a slightly grumpy wife who tends to fall asleep quite a few times a day! He's keeping me happy and being a great support... you're the best.

The couple tied the knot back in June in an intimate Scottish ceremony, having met while filming The Jump in early 2017.

Matthews told Hello! Magazine: “It has gone down by many as the best wedding they’ve ever been to.

“It was a family affair in the middle of nowhere and it felt very secluded. We were surrounded by the people we love.”
