After spending lockdown in the Cotswolds, the Beckhams have sought sunnier climes and jetted off to southern Italy for a luxury break.

Victoria and David Beckham and their four children - Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper - have been pictured in Puglia, with Brooklyn’s new fiancée Nicola Peltz joining the family for the summer holiday.

Photos published by MailOnline show the family enjoying the sunshine in Puglia and cycling to the beach.

The Beckhams are reportedly staying at a farmhouse villa in Borgo Egnazia, a spot favoured by celebrities thanks to its private beach clubs and Michelin star restaurant.

Peltz, 25, has joined the family holiday following her engagement to their eldest son Brooklyn, 21.

Sharing a photo of him and Peltz on Instagram, Brooklyn announced their engagement with a heartfelt caption earlier this month.

“Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes,” he wrote. “I am the luckiest man in the world.

“I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby.”

Victoria also shared her joy on Instagram, writing: “The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married!

"Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much x @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven."

The Beckhams’ Italian escape comes after the family spent lockdown in their mansion in the Cotswolds.

Brooklyn spent much of lockdown with Peltz in New York before returning to the Cotswolds to be with his family in early July.
