WEST END LIVE

Leicester Square will come alive to the sound of musicals this weekend as West End Live returns to the capital.

The cast of Chicago, The Lion King, The Blue Man Group, Mamma Mia!, Guys and Dolls, Stomp, The Producers and Footloose will be performing live on stage throughout the day.

There'll also be music and dance acts, including a performance by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, new MTV show Barrio 19 will showcase the very best of UK Street Dance and there'll will be two pimped-up cars from Pimp My Ride UK.

On Regent's Street, top London toy store Hamleys will provide a special 'fun zone', while The National Gallery and the V&A will be running children’s arts workshops and face painters, crazy hair stylists and balloon modellers will be on hand to keep everyone entertained.

West End Live will run from 12pm to 6.30pm on 17 and 18 June. For more information, visit www.westendlive.co.uk
