Gemma Collins fell victim to an online mocking after being accused of passing off a stock image of a private jet as her own.

The iconic TOWIE star and meme sensation tweeted a picture of a VIP plane, saying companies now send her luxury transport.

She posted: “And I’m OFF ..... Life’s changed private jets being sent for me now unreal x.”

But it turns out the picture was a stock image, and the second search result that appears when you type in “private jet” on Google.

Fans thought they had rumbled Collins, with many claiming she was trying to pull the wool over their eyes.

Collins’ feed was inundated with the original stock image while others replaced her post with a Ryanair plane. She was, in fact, travelling on a private jet, just not the one she posted a picture of.

“Shame it’s a Google image love,” tweeted one user.

Another wrote: “Wow hahahahha googling private jets and pretending it's yours a girl can dream hahahahha.”

A third posted an image of a rocket, posting: “Me to [sic] babes. Lives changed so much hasn't it hun. Here's me jetting off to Marbs last week. Take me back GC.”

But she later revealed she had in fact flown by private jet to Jersey, after posting a picture of herself standing outside her own luxury plane.

She captioned the shot: “Get ready for me JERSEY GC is in town.”

It comes weeks after Collins was embroiled in a Photoshop row after she placed her own head on the body of model Katie Green who appeared to have been widened and her skin tone darkened to match Collins’ fake tan.

The images were quickly deleted from the Lily Limited website – a company that supplies the Gemma Collins Collection – with the TOWIE star later apologising for her “silly” move.

Speaking on This Morning she said: “I stupidly said ‘Photoshop my head’. We are entitled to use those images from who we got them from.

“It was something silly I done. I never meant to cause anyone any upset. It wasn’t about trying to make myself look thinner. I’m a plus size girl and I’m proud of it. Not realising it was a copyright problem.”
