The rumours were true – the Jonas Brothers have confirmed that they are set to reunite after a five year hiatus.

The musical siblings recruited Late Late Show host James Corden to help them announce the release of a new single, Sucker, which will drop on Friday.

Nick, Joe and Kevin will make a handful of appearances on Corden’s show next week, when they are set to share more details of the story behind the reunion.

Here’s everything you need to know as the Disney trio get the band back together.

It wouldn’t be a proper reunion without all three brothers – luckily, the trio are all on board for the comeback (we like to think that they’ve been hatching plans while attending Nick’s recent wedding celebrations…)

Sadly, ‘bonus’ Jonas brother Frankie will not be making his musical debut, but we’ll keep our fingers firmly crossed for a cameo appearance.

When will they be releasing new music?

The trio’s brand new track, Sucker, will drop at midnight (Eastern Time) on March 1, meaning that dedicated UK fans will be able to listen from 5am. It’s the brothers’ first release over five years, so fans are understandably excited.

Before the full single lands online, you can find a sneak preview of the track at the very end of the Carpool Karaoke teaser posted on the Late Late Show’s official channels earlier today.

The brothers will kick start their week-long takeover of Corden’s chat show on March 4, when they’ll share more details of the story behind their reunion.

As well as featuring in the host’s Carpool Karaoke segment, they’ll also take part in sketches including Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts and will perform their new track live for the very first time.

Their appearances will be spread across the week until March 7.

Will the Jonas Brothers be going on tour again?

The group are yet to confirm any live dates, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wildly speculating about rumours of a Jonas Brothers tour on Twitter.

“If the Jonas Brothers go on tour I’m going to every show near me,” one devotee wrote.

“Can’t wait to be screeching Burnin’ Up at the top of [my] lungs when Jonas Brothers do their reunion tour,” another added.

“My ten year old self is screaming if you could tour so I can finally see you guys my life would be complete,” a third wrote.

What have the Jonas Brothers been up to since 2013?

Joe, 29, formed a new band, DNCE, with friends and touring partners Jack Lawless and JinJoo Lee, and has also appeared on The Voice Australia as a coach. He is engaged to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.

Meanwhile Nick, 26, has had a brief solo career and has dabbled in acting, finding his biggest role to date in 2017's Jumanji reboot. He married actress Priyanka Chopra in December in a string of lavish ceremonies held in India and the United States.

The eldest Jonas, 31-year-old Kevin, married wife Danielle in 2009, and the couple have starred in their own E! reality show, Married to Jonas.
