Forget Gemma Collins – Ross Kemp is the new overnight meme sensation and he is everything. EVERYTHING.

Kemp, 53, whipped off his top as he celebrated England’s historic penalty shoot-out win over Colombia on Tuesday night.

He posted a video of himself jubilantly screaming into a camera as he praised Gareth Southgate’s team.

“You will never know what that means to me,” he said. “That is everything. Everything. We love you boys. We love you.”

Kemp posted the home video on Twitter, writing: “What a game, what an ending. Well done @England #ENGvCOL #EnglandvsColombia #threelions.”

Fans joked they had been left “scared s***less” by the former EastEnders hardman, while others compared him to Thing from Fantastic Four.

“Next up...in extreme world...Ross visits himself...,” tweeted one.

Another posted: “Coming soon to Sky One, ‘Ross Kemp On Beers’.”

A third wrote: “Unexpected World Cup side effects - Ross Kemp, in the buff, shouting at you.”

Despite tweeting his euphoria, some fans were more enamoured by his vase of sunflowers with one posting: “Your sunflowers are everything. EVERY THING.”

Another joked: “Ross kemp on sunflowers.”
