Taylor Swift thanked boyfriend Calvin Harris during a gushing acceptance speech at the iHeartRadio Awards.

The US pop superstar, who was the big winner during Sunday night's ceremony, used the Scottish DJs real name as she credited him for being there when the 'spotlight' was off.

Taking to the stage to pick up for prize for Best Tour, she said:

"For the first time I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and when the crowds were all gone.

"So I want to thank my boyfriend Adam for that and I love you guys so much."

The DJ - real name Adam Wiles - was in the crowd to support his other half as she won a handful of awards including Best Female and Best Album for 1989.

He also won in his category, collecting the trophy for Best Dance Act.

Other big winners at the ceremony in LA included Adele who picked up Best Song for Hello and Justin Bieber who was named Best Male.
