Susanna Reid has refused to reveal any information about her love life after recently hinting that she doesn’t think dating needs to be “exclusive” any more.

The Good Morning Britain presenter sparked interest in her private life after telling You Magazine that Love Island had “taught” her that you could date multiple people at once.

And her colleagues on the ITV breakfast show, which included stand-in presenter Adil Ray, were not letting Reid’s comment pass without pushing for more information.

Ray, Charlotte Hawkins and guest Joe Swash continued to press Reid on romance as the presenter clarified her quote – defiant in not giving away any intimate details.

“This is something that I learned from Love Island,” she said. “You don’t have to date exclusively any more, doesn’t mean I’m going to do that.

“Hasn’t it always been the case that you date a few people and then you decide who you’re going to go exclusive with?

“I don’t have a couple on the go. You’ll find out soon enough. I’m not saying yes, I’m not saying no!”

Reid added that she was “not discussing it on national television” before swiftly moving the show on, despite Swash still asking questions.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star split from Dominic Cotton in 2014 after nearly 16 years.

In January, she revealed that she doesn’t want to marry again, although she likes to think she will find love again.

She said on the show: “I never wanted to be married and don't want to change now... that's it.

“I think I'll probably at some stage hopefully have another relationship, but not marriage."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
