Cara Delevingne is a model and actress – but now she’s turned her hand to hairdressing.

Delevingne, 23, gave one lucky pedestrian a haircut on Hollywood Boulevard during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

“I was thinking of doing it with my eyes closed,” she told Grace, the volunteer. “That could be fun.”

Clearly nonplussed by Delevingne’s lack of hair cutting knowledge Grace said: “I’m from Florida and I love stepping out of my comfort zone.”

Dressed in pyjamas and with no previous hair cutting experience, Delevingne proceeded to shave a strip right through the middle of Grace’s head and joked that it was a good look.

“I’m quitting my day job, this is my thing now,” she said.

Grace was left with a shaved head, save for a few plaits on her left side, and despite saying she was pleased with her new look, she kept quiet when Kimmel prompted her to tip Delevingne.

Delevingne was on the US chat show to promote her latest film, Suicide Squad.

The British star also performed her water bottle trick which she joked secured her the role of Enchantress in the DC extended universe.

She balanced a bottle of water on her forehead as she went from standing to laying down and back up again.

Despite not wearing heels, Kimmel struggled with the trick and dropped the bottle three times.

Delevingne will star alongside Margot Robbie, Will Smith and Jared Leto in the new film which will follow a group of superhuman inmates who are used by a secret government agency to complete illegal tasks in exchange for freedom.
