Stephanie Davis has revealed she is back with Jeremy McConnell just days after she ended their relationship following cheating allegations.

Davis took to Twitter to tell fans that she is keen to “follow my heart” after enduring the “worst week of my life”.

The former Hollyoaks actress shared screenshots on Saturday morning of messages between McConnell and a fifth girl who claimed to have slept with the Irish model.

Davis told fans: “He swore it wasn't true and I believed it. All lies… New chapter for me to the last one never existed as far as I'm concerned.”

But in a lengthy Twitter explanation on Tuesday she told fans that the claims were untrue and that she is attempting to work on a relationship with McConnell.

“I can confirm the messages supposedly sent from Jeremy aren't true,” she tweeted. “Everyone can hate and say what they like, but at the end of the day I met a boy who I fell in love with. It's been hard with all the press and tweets, have all you not experienced heart ache.”

The actress – who met McConnell in the Celebrity Big Brother house – said she will no longer be posting messages about their relationship.

She continued: “It's been so hard for us. And if you could all see the pain I've been in and him you would understand. Yes you’re right and I won't be posting my life on social media. But when you meet someone you love and can't live without you know it’s real.

“This week has been the worst week of my life and I just want to be happy. Against me or not I'll do what I have to do and follow my heart.

“There's a lot you don't know only by what papers say. It's my life and my choice, I might be wrong I might be right... I can only follow my heart and I hope (sic).”

The couple have faced numerous cheating allegations and were branded "nonsense" by Phillip Schofield over their on-off relationship. Earlier this month they admitted that they were going to try couple's therapy.
