Could Sacha Baron Cohen be about to revive one of his earliest characters onstage?

The creator of Ali G is currently in the UK working on his next film, Grimsby, in which he plays a football hooligan, and by coincidence this Friday there is a one-off 20th anniversary revival of Lenny Beige’s Regency Rooms club at Kensington Town Hall (lennybeige.tumblr.com for tickets).

In the late Nineties, Baron Cohen performed there with his brother, Erran, in a duo called The Shvitzing Brothers — he dressed as an orthodox Jew and stripped down to his pants.

We have been tipped off that if shooting permits he may attend, though this time he might choose to keep his dignity and his clothes on.
