Rebecca Humphries hinted there will be “hell to pay” for Seann Walsh after she made several thinly veiled digs at the comedian as she returned to the stage in the wake of their split.

Humphries performed I Put A Spell on You at an east London Club, days after Walsh danced the Viennese Waltz to the famous track with Strictly partner Katya Jones, who he kissed passionately on a night out last month.

The actress dated Walsh for half a decade before she publicly dumped him in a scathing Twitter statement.

Taking to the stage for Halloween, Humphries hinted their relationship had suppressed her character as she tweaked the song lyrics to read “five and a half” as opposed to “300”.

“It’s been five and a half years right down to the day,” she sang. “Now the witch is back and there’s hell to pay.”

Humphries, who starred in Cockroaches, performed to huge cheers from the crowd and wrapped up the set ‘howling with laughter’.

She shared the video on Instagram, telling fans she has “no real recollection of this happening as I was so nervous I didn’t have dinner and downed a lot of wine onstage”.

Happier times: Rebecca Humphries and Seann Walsh

Humphries said she nearly ‘pulled out’ of the gig in favour of eating sweets at home, but described the experience as a “joy”.

“[The club] has created this bastion of kindness and positivity and MUSICAL THEATRE and oh, it was such a joy,” she wrote. “I threw my head back and howled laughing. I adore everyone who came.”

Walsh and Humphries split after pictures surfaced of him kissing Jones on the night of Humphries’ birthday during a break from Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals.

He apologised for the “one-off drunken mistake,” but Humphries called it quits, accusing him of being controlling and “aggressively” telling her she was a “psycho” for questioning his relationship with Jones, something he denied.

Jones also apologised, insisting she is “very happy” in her marriage to fellow Strictly professional Neil Jones.
