Rihanna and Drake have cemented their romance with an on-stage kiss.

Appearing to confirm that they are most definitely an item, the pop star pair kissed each other in front of a crowd of thousands in Miami on Wednesday night.

Rihanna made a surprise appearance alongside her on/off other half during his Summer Sixteen tour, arriving on stage to huge cheers.

Captured by one fan on Instagram, the 28-year-old locked lips with Drake mid-song during the set.

The confirmation comes just a few days after Drake professed his love for the singer on stage at the MTV VMAs.

Presenting the Barbadian chart-topper with the coveted Vanguard Award on Sunday night, he told the crowd:

“She's someone I've been in love with since I was 22 years old.

"She's one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I've looked up to her, even though she's younger than me.

"She's a living, breathing legend in our industry, ladies and gentleman, the recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award for 2016, Rihanna.”

While Drake tried to go in for a full-on kiss as Rihanna collected her Moonman, she awkwardly gave him the side cheek.

After the ceremony a source told Entertainment Tonight that they were ‘definitely a couple’.

“No one really knows how long they have been 'official,' they just decided to let it become a thing instead of hiding it from everyone. They're happy,” said the insider.
