Professor Green admits that he’s had couples’ therapy with wife Millie Mackintosh to help marriage

Professor Green has admitted that he has seen a therapist with wife Mille Mackintosh in a bid to help their marriage.

The rapper, who wed the former Made In Chelsea star back in 2013, claims that speaking to a professional has helped the couple move forward.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: “We both see the same therapist and, yeah, we have sat down with her together.

"Sometimes it's easier to understand things when they come from the person who is completely removed from the situation – it's one of the most constructive things I do in my life.”

Opening up in his new autobiography, Lucky, the 31-year-old claims that the pair went through a rough patch while doing a detox.

He said: “We were at each other's throats. We thought we f***ing hated each other.

“Then we ate normally and had a glass of wine and it was fine. It was the lack of sugar, 100 per cent. I’m never doing that again."

Green – real name Stephen Manderson – was on hand to support Mackintosh at the launch of her new book earlier this week.
