Actress Priyanka Chopra has confirmed that she will be attending the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, but has denied reports that she’ll be a bridesmaid.

The Indian actress, 35, said she was “super excited” to attend the royal nuptials next month, but would be attending as a guest rather than part of the wedding party.

“I’m super excited about her and her big day. It’s not just going to be life-changing for both of them, it’s life-changing for the world that needs to see strong women as icons, and I think Meghan has the potential to be that,” she told People magazine.

She added: “I’m not going to be a bridesmaid.”
