Courteney Cox sent fans into meltdown after she recreated the iconic “pivot” scene from Friends with her boyfriend.

The sitcom star, who played Monica Geller on the hit show, gave her 1.2 million followers a dose of nostalgia as she filmed her beau Johnny McDaid attempting to move furniture into her home.

As the Snow Patrol singer begun to manoeuvre his way around with the new table, Cox couldn’t resist shouting: “Pivot! Pivot!”

Cox proceeded to repeat it serval more times pulling inspiration from her on-screen sibling Ross Geller (David Schwimmer), who famously shouted the phrase at friends Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) and Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) as they attempted to take a hefty suitcase up a flight of stairs on the show.

The moment went down a treat with fans who couldn’t help but admit the clip brought back “good memories.”

One user wrote: “YAS!! Thank you Courtney for that. Slightly less annoying than Ross but so many good memories from this.”

“This brought back feels,” added another.

The brilliant post comes after Cox opened up about the nail-biting emergency landing a private jet carrying her, former co-star Jennifer Aniston and their friends was forced to make last month.

The group had been on their way to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico as part of Aniston’s 50th birthday celebrations but one of the plane wheels fell off as the flight took off.

Cox revealed that despite generally be unafraid of flying, she did text 14-year-old daughter Coco and McDaid amid the panic.

She told Extra: “I sent a little text to Coco, ‘I love you,’ I didn’t say why, and to Johnny. I told him everything that was going on and I FaceTimed him after.”
