Paul Hollywood has admitted that he has obsessive compulsive disorder and cleans his car ‘every two hours’.

The Great British Bake-Off judge, 49, claims that he is ‘obsessed’ with his Aston Martin and cleans it a number of times every day.

Speaking about his car on his BBC2 show Licence To Thrill: Paul Hollywood Meets Aston Martin, the baker said:

“I wonder if I love it a little too much. You look for little nicks and if I see one my heart misses a beat. It (the nick) is just sitting there winding me up - it’s ruining the car.

“It is OCD. I’m obsessed with my Aston.”

Hollywood admitted that his OCD usually came out when he was in the kitchen, saying:

“I’ve got it in the bakery and now I’ve got it with the car.”

Hollywood faced the wrath of Bake-Off fans last night when he tweeted who had made it through to the final immediately after the show aired.

Many viewers, who were waiting to watch the programme on ‘catch-up’, blasted the star for ‘ruining’ the surprise.

One disgruntled fan wrote: “No Paul ...I watch this on Catch up and look what you've gone and done. Noooooo."
