Olivia Colman reportedly celebrated her Oscars win by hiring out a “party bus for an all-night celebration” in Los Angeles.

Colman, 45, struggled to hold it together when she was crowned Best Actress for her role in The Favourite on Sunday night.

The British actress reportedly made sure to make the most of the biggest award of her career by keeping the celebrations going long after the glitzy bash was over.

“Olivia didn’t want anything uber posh like a fancy executive star so the party bus was the perfect idea to carry on the celebrations,” a source told The Sun.

“She invited her glam squad and a couple of her mates and they drove around Los Angeles with the music pumping finishing off at a private bash where they stayed until the early hours.”

The insider added that the star was on “cloud nine” after the ceremony, during which the Broadchurch and Peep Show actress took home one of the night’s most prestigious gongs.

A video obtained by the publication showed Colman boarding a party vehicle decked out with neon lights.

She was cheered on by her emotional co-star Emma Stone, who gave her a standing ovation as the British star ran up to the stage.

Colman joked that the moment was “stressful” because she had so many names and people to thank to remember before she paid tribute to director Yorgos Lanthimos and co-stars Stone and Rachel Weisz.

She paid special homage to Close, who had been nominated alongside her for her role in The Wife, who she hailed as her “idol for so long”.

Colman said: “You've been my idol for so long and this is not how I wanted it to be and I think you're amazing and I love you very much.”

She blew a raspberry as she was told to wrap up her heartfelt speech before giving one last shout out to her “best friend” and partner of 25 years, Ed Sinclair.
