You have one baby, seven months go by, then the pregnancy test is positive again – how do you react? If you're Peaches Geldof, you "panic".

The 23-year-old socialite, who is in her fourth month of pregnancy with a second son, admitted that she was nervous about becoming a mother just seven months after the birth of her first child Astala.

The star, who is the daughter of Bob Geldof and his late ex-wife Paula Yates, told HELLO! magazine that her husband Tom Cohen was “over the moon” to hear the news, but that it was “quite a shock” for her.

She said: "I, on the other hand, did have a momentary panic and go, 'Oh my god, we're going to have a one-year-old and a one-month old! How will we cope?' ".

The couple are planning to move out of London to raise the children in Surrey, South East England, and she and Tom are delighted that Astala will have a brother to play with.

Peaches said: “As much as I would love to have a daughter one day, I am thrilled Astala will have a brother. They can share clothes and toys and do boy stuff together."

Peaches plans to name her son Phaedra, “a name that comes from an ancient Greek play”, she explained, and which features in a song both she and her husband love called Some Velvet Morning by Lee Hazlewood.
