Dr Alex George appeared to confirm he’s in a new relationship months after his exit from the Love Island villa.

The young medic, who earned a reputation on the show for being unsuccessful in love, took to social media to share a snap alongside his new flame.

Posing next to dancer and former Ibiza Weekender TV star Amelia Bath, Dr Alex appeared loved-up as he beamed next to the brunette in the image.

He jokingly captioned the post: “The person I would like to couple up with is....”

Fans of the reality show were quick to applaud the star on securing a relationship.

One user wrote: “He’s got a girl finally!”

Another commented: “Doctor love has found his love.”

A third added: “Go on Alex good things come to those who wait.”

Bath also teased the romance on social media, posing in matching Burberry trench coats with the reality star.

She sweetly captioned the post: “His and hers.”

Dr Alex fifth wheels Love Island double date

The post comes after Dr Alex proved famously unlucky in romance during his stint in the Love Island villa last summer.

Failing to strike up a romantic relationship with any of the contestants, he settled on a friend-based partnership with Samira Mighty.

He later expressed interest in former glamour model Megan Barton Hanson but was brushed over after she selected Eyal Booker for her first pairing. She later fell head-over-heels for Wes Nelson.

The doctor also explored brief romances with contestants Ellie Brown and Alexandra Cane but both romances fizzled out after a short stint in the villa.
