Naomi Campbell 'makes social media fail' with sponsored Adidas post

Naomi Campbell made a social media faux pas by accidentally posting a message from a sponsor on Instagram.

Campbell, 46, failed to realise that she had posted a message detailing the instructions of a sponsored Adidas post into the caption field, according to Jezebel.

The message read: "Naomi, so nice to see you in good spirits!!! Could you put something like: Thanks to my friend @gary.aspden and all at adidas - loving these adidas 350 SPZL from the adidas Spezial range. @adidasoriginals".

The post – which showed the supermodel posing with a pair of the brand’s trainers – was later replaced with the correct caption.

"Thanks to my friend @gary.aspden and all at adidas - loving these adidas 350 SPZL from the adidas Spezial range," she wrote before adding: "#thesearemine."

Campbell isn’t the first celebrity to make a copy and paste fail.

Scott Disick was mocked online after he made a similar mistake while promoting a brand of protein shake mix.

The self titled ‘Lord’ was branded a “chump” after he posted: “Here you go, at 4pm est, write the below.

“Caption: Keeping up the summer workout routine with my @booteauk protein shake!”

He later tweaked the caption and successfully posted the correct post.
