The pain of Grace's eviction appears to have been more than her favourite housemate Mikey could bear.

The 22-year-old software developer could be seen shedding a tear in bed at 3am following Grace's exit from the Big Brother house hours earlier.

After crying, Mikey drew his duvet over his face before re-emerging looking pensive. He then appeared to cry again and wiped his eyes.

Self-confessed "Sloane Ranger" Grace was the fourth contestant to be evicted from the house.

The 20-year-old dance teacher was hot favourite to get the boot after the audience loudly chanted "get Grace out" during last week's eviction.

She took the news calmly, attempting to maintain a smile as the other housemates comforted her.

Grace was put up for the public vote, along with wannabe footballers' wife Nikki, 24, by new girl Susie, the only housemate allowed to make nominations this week.

Channel 4 said that Grace had received 87.9% of the total votes cast for this week's eviction.

Grace removed her dressing gown to reveal a pink evening dress and started getting ready to leave the house.

She said "well done" to Nikki, who was looking more shocked than her, and Richard gave her a friendship bracelet to take with her.

Grace threw a glass of water over Susie as she left the house in retaliation for being nominated.

She was greeted by a chorus of boos from the crowd outside. Several audience members waved home-made "Grace is a disgrace" placards.

Shown a montage of clips of her criticising other housemates behind their backs, Grace admitted she could be two-faced but blamed her gender and her girls' school education.

She told Big Brother host Davina McCall: "It's just because it's on TV and it's just blown up even more. "I'm a girl and I can't help but have a bitch."

Grace ended up the hottest favourite yet for eviction from the Big Brother house, attracting odds of just 1-100 from William Hill.

She spent much of yesterday lying in bed with Mikey talking about whether they would stay together after they leave the Big Brother house.

Grace told the 22-year-old Scouse model: "Obviously neither of us know what will happen when we get out.

"But I'm not going to jeopardise anything by being stupid and going around with a load of blokes.

"I wouldn't want you to do it. If I stayed and you went and I found out you'd be with loads of girls I wouldn't have anything to do with you.

"So it's the same for you. Obviously we'll meet, but you won't meet me if I've been floozie-ing around."

Pete is still favourite to win the series on odds of 8-11, followed by Glyn on 9-4, Nikki and Mikey on 12-1, and Aisleyne on 14-1.

The three housemates previously evicted are Bonnie, Sezer and Sam. In addition George and Shahbaz walked out, and Dawn was ejected by producers for making contact with the outside world.
