Tommy Fury’s ex-girlfriend has accused the boxer of lying about their relationship ahead of Love Island, claiming they have not been split up for as long as he claimed.

Tommy, 20, entered the villa as a surprise late arrival alongside Strictly star AJ Pritchard’s brother Curtis on Monday night’s launch show.

Tommy had previously told OK! that he has been “single for about 8-10 months” after his relationship with Millie Roberts “fizzled out”.

But Millie, who dated Tommy for two years, posted a picture of the pair together on February 19 this year and accused him of acting like “the whole relationship was nothing”.

Alongside the mirror selfie she wrote: “Didn't realise Feb-March was 8-10 months ago? I know you’re not the best at maths but this is no excuse.

“It’s mad what fame and money can do to people try and act like the whole relationship was nothing. But okay Tommy you do you.”

She later tweeted: “Split for 10 months but we were together for my birthday in February and Valentine’s Day? Okay tommy.”

Millie previously accused Tommy of dumping her to take part in the ITV2 dating show which sees a bunch of singletons couple up in a Majorcan villa for the summer in a bid to find love and take home the £50,000 cash prize.

“Going on this show is supposedly against everything he claimed to stand for,” she told the Daily Star. “He wouldn’t even like me watching the programme and would say the girls were disgusting because of their lip fillers and Botox. He hates all that.”

Standard Online has contacted a representative for Tommy for comment.

Tommy will tonight be tasked with stealing a girl from the newly coupled-up islanders after entering as a late arrival.

A teaser clip ahead of tonight’s show sees him admitting to having a crush on surfer Lucie who is currently partnered with sandwich man Joe. The south-east Londoner has already been subjected to outside threats after Anton, who is coupled with Amy, revealed he actually fancies Lucie.

The other couples are: Michael and Yewande, Anna and Sherif and Amber and Callum.
