Lorde has been criticised by viewers for her lacklustre response to Pink’s Grammy Awards performance.

The New Zealander, 21, looked bored as Pink sang a stripped back version of her track, Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken during Sunday night's ceremony.

Lorde was captured looking stony-faced and barely clapping as other members of the audience gave Pink a standing ovation.

Viewers were quick to spot the reaction and called her out for being unenthusiastic.

One Twitter user wrote: “Did anyone else see Lorde just sitting there while everyone else was clapping for Pink's performance with the her lips pursed #GRAMMYs.”

Another tweeted: “This one couldn’t be bothered. @lorde you could have at least pretended to be impressed by those drop dead vocals.”

Others defended the Green Light singer with one tweeting: “Lorde is p***** and rightfully so. Being nominated for album of the year and not getting her own performance but Pink getting one?? BS.”

Lorde – who lost out on Album of the Year to Bruno Mars –was later seen cheering and singing along to Rihanna as she performed Wild Thoughts with DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller.

Lorde reportedly pulled out of a group performance of a Tom Petty tribute after being refused a solo set at the 60th annual bash.

This year's ceremony also saw performances from Kesha, U2, Sting and Shaggy, Sir Elton John and Miley Cyrus, Sam Smith and Lady Gaga among others.

The night's big winner was Mars who took home the coveted Album, Song and Record of the Year.

Other winners included Kendrick Lamar for Rap Album, Alessia Cara for New Artist, Foo Fighters for Rock Song and Ed Sheeran for Pop Solo Performance and Pop Vocal Album.
