Coleen Nolan’s Loose Women co-stars have revealed they are fearful for her well-being on Celebrity Big Brother.

Nolan, 51, entered the famous reality TV home on Tuesday night, days after saying she would use the show as a “trial separation” from her husband Ray Fensome.

Ruth Langsford said she is scared Nolan won’t have anyone to confide in while Nadia Sawalha said she fears Nolan’s personal problems will be magnified.

Fellow panellist Jane Moore said: “Leading up to Christmas [Nolan] was talking about her and Ray having problems, and I thought she’s quite vulnerable.

“When she spoke about being on it before it was the older show and much more relaxing – but it’s not like that anymore. It’s high octane.”

Sawalha agreed adding: “The crowds are hungry for blood every night. I’m worried for her because she’s going to get a shock. It’s high pressure and I worry with the stuff that she’s going through at the moment it might magnify it.”

Langsford said she questioned whether a stint in the house was healthy for Nolan, saying: “I hope he’s got someone in there to talk to and confide in. I thought, is this the best thing for her to be doing.”

Nolan – who wasn't wearing her wedding ring during Tuesday night's launch – recently revealed that she could face splitting from her husband of 17 years if they can’t find a way to save their marriage.

Speaking to the Mirror she said: “My marriage is in crisis and I won’t lie about it.

“We're going to do a lot of talking over the next couple of weeks, but if we can't fix it then I want us to have counselling.”

She said she was left devastated when Fentsone – who plays guitar for Rick Astley – admitted to not being physically attracted to her anymore.

“Six months ago I said to him, ‘I don’t feel like you fancy me any more’ and I told him he had to answer me honestly,” Nolan said.

“I was totally devastated when he said, ‘The thing is, men are visual’. He meant that when he looks at me, he doesn’t fancy me.

“It was very tough to hear, but I’d asked him for the truth and sometimes the truth b***** hurts!”
