Kourtney Kardashian was accused of blanking a TV presenter during an awkward interview in which she refused to talk about her sister Kim Kardashian.

The reality TV star, 37, fell silent when Today Extra host David Campbell asked her how Kim was feeling after she was bound, gagged and robbed of a reported £9 million worth of jewellery by five men at her Paris apartment earlier this month.

Campbell asked: “We were wondering how is everyone going and how is Kim doing?”

Kourtney started to answer before stopping and speaking to a member of her team off-camera.

When Campbell asked if she was talking to someone she apologised and said “they just came in” before falling silent and staring blankly at the camera.

“Hello Kourtney have we lost you?” Campbell asked.

When it was clear the mother-of-three wasn’t going to talk, co-host Sonia Kruger said: “It looks like Kourtney doesn’t want to go there with that question. I think there is probably a PR person there saying ‘don’t answer that question’.”

Campbell was less sympathetic and accused Kourtney of blanking him.

“I think she’s totally blanking me on that question,” he said. “She could just say ‘my sister’s fine’. I think we said we were very concerned and we were on her side and [said we] hope everyone is fine.”

But Kourtney later resumed the interview and told the show that Kim is still “not doing great”.

She said: “I think we’re all still really shaken up and I think she has a big supportive family, and I know that all the traumatic things that we’ve been through, we get through them together as a family. That’s what family is all about.”

Kourtney said the terrifying ordeal left her “shaken” and made her re-think her own life.

“I feel like in our family we go through traumatic things and our lives move so quickly that sometimes we don’t have a chance to digest them, but I feel I’ve personally been taking time to digest things and I’m personally still shaken up.”
