Katy Perry, Helen Mirren and Heidi Klum lead the fashion pack as they made their glamorous arrivals at the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Cannes.

The stars took to the red carpet at the five star Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc for the glitzy bash which helps to raise money to find a cure for AIDS.

Perry, 31, stepped out alone without rumoured beau Orlando Bloom. The pair have been pictured together throughout the film festival but decided to attend Thursday night’s event separately.

The singer – who is expected to perform at the star-studded event – made sure to steal the attention in a striking red dress which featured large ruffled sleeves as she blew kisses to the cameras.

Leading the pack of British talent was Mirren who, having recovered from her fall on the red carpet at The Unknown Girl premiere, looked stunning in a floor length metallic gown.

Paris Hilton also opted for a metallic look in a sequin embellished dress as she arrived alongside a troupe of models including Jessica Hart and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Toni Garn worked a mini dress while Jourdan Dunn and Karlie Kloss opted to flash their legs in black floor length gowns.

The event is the hottest ticket in town during the annual film festival and boasts stellar guest lists full of those who want to throw their support behind the organisation.

Event chairs Adrien Brody, Heidi Klum and Sharon Stone were also in attendance as well as co-chair Adriana Lima who put on an affection display with her partner Joe Thomas.
